Mindy Johnson

With over 25 years of experience in the field of education, Mindy Johnson offers knowledge and expertise in inclusive design strategies, writing and editing, content development, digital accessibility, special education, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), professional learning, public speaking, social media strategy and accessible implementation, website development, and educational technology. She was the 2019-2020 president of ISTE’s Inclusive Learning Network and was part of the Technical Working Group for the ISTE Standards for Educators in 2016. Mindy is a former high school special education teacher and Overnight instructor at the Boston Museum of Science where she led overnight museum experiences sprinkled with science and math activities for elementary and middle school-aged children.

You can often catch Mindy's dog in the background of video calls or by her side on walks in the woods outside of work. She also enjoys video games with epic storylines, puzzles that tease the brain, geeking out about inclusive education topics, and streaming the latest series or movie alongside her favorite people.
