Melinda Thornton

Melinda has worked 2 years as an AmeriCorps VISTA member, with Utah Assistive Technology Program (UATP). She plans on returning as an AmeriCorps VISTA for 3 more years again with UATP once the new funding is available. A decade ago, she served 2 years with Salt Lake County's National program at Y.W.C.A. She has a Bachelor's and Masters of Social Work and loves working with people. In Melinda's spare time, she loves playing with her service dog,  Raven and her grandkids. She is also attended Northern Arizona University for her ATP graduate certificate.
