Heather H. Kelley is a doctoral candidate in Human Development and Family Studies at USU (anticipated graduation is May 2024). She is experienced in qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods, and bibliometric methods. Her research interests focus on both individual and relational well-being. In particular, she has studied the impact of specific constructs, such as financial stress or religious differences, on relational well-being among couple and parent-child relationships as well as factors that influence quality of life and mental health among individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her current projects include researching protective factors for satisfaction with life among adults on the autism spectrum experiencing mental health concerns and translating mental health literacy trainings into more accessible and feasible formats.
