Center for Persons with Disabilities

   CPD Historical Notes

The Center for Persons with Disabilities has been a leader in the disability field for 35 years. Approximately 70 CPD programs currently operate throughout Utah and across the nation as part of a national network focused on improving life for people with disabilities and their families. Each year, the CPD provides direct services to thousands of individuals with disabilities and their family members, technical assistance to a wide variety of community, state, and federal agencies and service organizations, conducts innovative research projects, and trains thousands of students and service providers through unique interdisciplinary programs. This year, we proudly remember our past, celebrate our present, and look forward to our future.
