CPD 35th Anniversary

The CPD Celebrates 35th Anniversary in 2007

cpd_building

On June 15-16, 2007, hundreds of past and present CPD employees, trainees, and service recipients gathered to celebrate the CPD's 35th birthday. Participants came from across the United States and Puerto Rico to reconnect with old friends and to share their stories. Activities included a luncheon, picnic, and a dinner dance, as well as a variety of community activities including swimming, hiking, canoeing, and a road rally.

According to Dr. Marvin Fifield, CPD founding director, "We had no idea when we started the Center that it would become so big, so successful or impact so many people's lives. It's so wonderful to see so many of those who have been affiliated with the Center and see where they have gone and what they have accomplished."
